Privacy Policy

WorkFromHere ("we", "us") helps people find work-friendly cafés. This policy explains what data the WorkFromHere iOS app processes and why. We keep it minimal: we don't sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
Data we process
- Email address — to create and secure your account (via Sign in with Apple or email/password). If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive Apple's private relay address.
- Precise location — only while you run a Wi-Fi speed test, to confirm you are at the café (within 100 m). It is used for that check and the test record; we do not build a location history or track your movements.
- Content you create — reviews, ratings and Wi-Fi speed tests you submit, which are shown to other users as part of the app.
How it's used
All of the above is used solely for app functionality — authenticating you, enabling features, and showing café information. It is linked to your account but never used for tracking or advertising.
Where it's stored
We use Supabase (hosted in the EU) for authentication, database and storage, and Mapbox to display maps. Café data may be enriched using the Google Places API. These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service.
Your choices & deletion
You can delete your account and associated data at any time from Profile → Delete account in the app. This removes your account and the personal content tied to it. You can also revoke Sign in with Apple from your Apple ID settings.
Children
WorkFromHere is rated 4+ but is intended for a general adult audience of remote workers; we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
